Ashes Jewellery

If you have lost a loved one and would like a piece of jewellery to hold them close, Scarlett Erskine Jewellery creates ashes jewellery that is truly unique to you

Scarlett started to design and make ashes jewellery after realising there was a need for truly bespoke ashes jewellery, where the client could choose their design and style of jewellery. Scarlett wanted to create jewellery with ashes that could be discreet or a statement in the wearers own style.

Scarlett works closely with glass blower Helen Chalmers collaborating to make jewellery holding loved ones ashes. The ashes are blown in the glass and then set into a bespoke piece of jewellery for you. You can choose your own design of jewellery or select a design.

How does ashes jewellery work?

We want to make a truly unique piece for you, by working with Scarlett you can choose what piece of jewellery you would like from pendant, ring to bracelet or earrings in materials silver, gold (yellow rose and white) or platinum. The ashes are blown in a glass bead or cabochon you can choose the colour of glass. Scarlett is happy to advise styles and designs. Ashes Jewellery can include pet or human ashes.

Join Scarlett for a consultation online or in person in her workshop in Dundee. In this meeting you will discuss the style of jewellery, the colour of the glass you would like and materials you would like the piece made in.

We ask for around a teaspoon size of the ashes, Helen will then combine the ashes into glass. This can be a glass bead or a glass cabochon the piece will then be passed on to Scarlett to be set in Silver, Gold or Platinum Jewellery.
